Early morning adventure start
The drive from Urawa Ward, Saitama City, to Narita Airport began with a beautiful sunrise in the background from Saitama City, where the night had just dawned. In the unusual quietness, I was excited about the start of a new day. Driving smoothly, avoiding traffic jams, it was as if we had moved the time forward a little. Arrival at Narita Airport is at 10am. Today's journey begins here. The drive through the quiet town, with the sunrise in the background, was like a scene from a film. The normally busy roads are smooth and comfortable only at this time of day. Today is another step on the way to a new adventure!
Unexpected development: you thought you were going straight to Urawa Ward, but you went to the Aviation Museum?
After meeting the customer at the airport using JumboTaxi.com's free meet-up service, an unexpected request was made! He wanted to visit the Aviation Science Museum near Narita Airport, however, unfortunately the museum was closed. So we suggested other attractive options to the customer and eventually we decided to go to the Sakurai Outlet Mall and the Great Buddha of Ushiku. Sudden changes like this are one of the best parts of travelling.
Shopping heaven : a moment at the Sakai Outlet Mall
Upon arrival at the Sakai Outlet Mall, the guests enjoyed shopping for about two hours. While I was there, I strolled around the outlet mall on my own. I found a lot of nice shops and made a lot of discoveries. I then went to an Italian restaurant and tasted a delicious carbonara. It was a moment that filled my heart and stomach. After meeting our guests again, we headed to our next destination, the Great Buddha of Ushiku.
Overwhelming power: Guinness World Records.
The next destination is the Great Buddha of Ushiku. After a 30-minute drive on the Ken-O Expressway, the Great Buddha of Ushiku appeared in front of us. The gigantic figure seen from the car window took my breath away. The enormity of the statue is overwhelming. At 120 metres above the ground, it is the world's largest statue of the Great Buddha. With an admission fee of 800 yen for us, we invaded the inside of the Giant Buddha! It is like a different world there! The inside of the Big Buddha is full of entertainment and both myself and my guests had a great time. The sheer size of it is simply astonishing.
Peaceful return journey - to Urawa Ward, Saitama City
The whole day was full of new discoveries and fun memories. The guests were happy and smiling, and I am truly grateful for the day I enjoyed with them. The guests slept most of the way home, as if they were recovering from a day's work. After a two-hour drive, we arrived safely at Urawa Ward, Saitama City. We are very honoured to have been able to share the wonderful experience of the day with our guests. We will endeavour to provide such a wonderful service on another occasion.
