Attended the 33rd Saitama Prefectural Convention for the Elimination of Violence and Prevention of Drug Abuse
In December 2023, I attended the 33rd Saitama Prefectural Convention for the Elimination of Violence and Prevention of Drug Abuse held at the Saitama Kaikan.
Many local government officials, businesses and civic organisations gathered on the day, and the hall was filled with a serious atmosphere and a desire to help the community.
As a transport operator with deep roots in the community, we at Peace Tourism Co. also had a valuable opportunity to reaffirm our awareness of crime prevention and safety.
Declaration on the elimination of gangs and other anti-social forces.
The conference included declarations of strong commitment, such as 'cutting off relations with anti-social forces' and 'creating a society that does not tolerate drugs'.
Each word read from the podium reached the hearts of the participants firmly, and the entire hall was filled with a sense of unity as they quietly nodded in agreement.
We, as a company, have and will continue to have nothing to do with anti-social forces and reiterate our pledge to provide a secure service.
Cooperation with local communities and future initiatives
Although it may seem that there are few opportunities to be directly involved in crime prevention, disaster prevention and drug abuse prevention in daily operations, there are many ways in which the Jumbo Taxi and Wagon Taxi can contribute to 'safe living' in the community through their means of transport.
We will continue to fulfil our social responsibility as a transport operator, placing importance on working in partnership with local communities.
Participating in an occasion such as the conference was a good opportunity for us to rethink our position.
